I have talked with a lot of distributors in network marketing over the years and the qualities that most people refer to have to do with the product. There is no question that the product needs to have a compelling story behind it along with your personal testimony regarding its value. It is also true that there is all too often a disconnect between the company and the support, training and general needs of the distributors.

The principal tasks of a distributor should revolve around connecting prospects with the product and opportunity. The company has to do all of the product development, distribution, tracking, training, accounting, and legal considerations, while providing marketing support. As a distributor you need to know that the responsibilities of the company are in good hands. You need to know that the company is solvent.

The best products in the world will struggle in the market place if the drivers of the vehicle get lost, confused or run out of resources to keep moving forward.
